'177 Nationalities: portraits of the most diverse city in the world.'.
The project started in may 2008, after the Amsterdam newspaper 'het Parool' published an article about Amsterdam being the city with the most nationalities living in it in the world in November 2007. The idea is to photograph and interview one person of every nationality in Amsterdam. Questions will be asked the participants about culture and style in Amsterdam and their connection with it.
When the project is finished there will exist a cross-section of Amsterdam multicultural culture. The project is not finished yet. Anybody who wants to participate or knows a person that should can get in touch.
